  • We will negotiate with your creditors for you, and generally a settlement can be agreed upon so that you can pay what you can afford and the creditors will be satisfied.

  • Will you pay my debts?
  • NO. since we are expecting to see in the region of a hundred thoudsand pounds worth of debts in the course of a year and we run on very little money we have a rule that no debts will be paid by FreeDA. If you are looking for money then FreeDA is not the Organisation

  • Will I have to change my lifestyle?
  • Depends. If you are spending more than your income then clearly that cannot go on. FreeDA staff will advise you on measures to make this possible.

  • Will I still get the letters and the phone calls?
  • NO. Not if you keep to your side of the bargain. You should be able to have a life of peace?

  • I don't know if I am getting all of my Benefits, Can you help?
  • Yes. The staff will look at your entitlements.

  • My business is having difficulties?
  • NO. Sorry this is much too complicated for us and we will have to point you elesewhere.

  • Do I have to go to church?
  • NO. Just because we are an organisation of a church does not mean that you have to come to church, either before coming to us, or after coming to us. We try and see all people as the same.

  • Will I have to go bankrupt?
  • Possibly. FreeDA staff will try their best to avoid this if it is not the best course of action.
